These terms govern your use of AI Business Lens (the "Service"), operated by Margin of Error Media LLC ("we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
AI Business Lens is a daily brief of AI-related stories with teaching materials for educators across disciplines, and study materials for students and other readers. Reading the brief is free for everyone. Generating materials requires an account, and beyond a limited free allowance, a paid plan. Instructor plans and student and reader plans differ in price and in the formats they include. No proof of enrollment is required for a student and reader plan. Every paid plan carries a monthly allowance of generations. As of this version it is 150 a month for instructor plans and 60 a month for student and reader plans, counted per calendar month and shown in your account. We may raise it on request, and we will post any change to the allowance here before it takes effect.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be able to form a binding contract to subscribe.
Do not misuse the Service. In particular, do not attempt to breach security, scrape or overload the systems, resell access, or use the Service to violate the law or the rights of others.
Teaching materials and summaries are generated with the help of AI and are provided as a starting scaffold for you to review. They may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any material before you rely on or use it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
The brief links to articles published by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for that content. We aim to link only to freely readable sources.
The Service, its design, and its original content are owned by Margin of Error Media LLC. Materials you generate for your own teaching are yours to use for that purpose. Third-party article content remains owned by its publishers.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Margin of Error Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction.
