FOR PUBLISHERS AND WRITERS
How we use your articles, and how to opt out
AI Business Lens is a daily brief that points readers to published reporting on how AI is changing the work of different fields. We want your readers to end up on your site. This page says exactly what we do with an article, what we do not do, and how to have your work removed if you would rather not be included.
What we do
- We read publicly available articles and public RSS feeds. We only include sources that a reader can open without paying.
- For each story we publish the headline, the name of the publication, a short summary in our own words, a line on why it matters to a field, and a prominent link to the original. Summaries are written with the help of an AI model and are not the article.
- A subscriber can ask for study or teaching materials about a story. Those are generated for that person's own class or study, from the article, and are not published or resold by us.
- Stories stay on the brief for two weeks. After that the page keeps only the headline, the summary, and the link to your original.
What we do not do
- We do not reproduce your article text. No full text, no long excerpts.
- We do not put your reporting behind our paywall. Every story page is free and links to you.
- We do not claim affiliation with or endorsement by any publication. Publication names appear only to say where a story came from.
- We do not bypass paywalls, registration walls, or robots rules.
To remove a story or your whole site
Email hello@aibusinesslens.com with the subject "Removal request". Include the link to the story, or the domain if you want the whole site excluded.
We remove the story, or every story from that domain, promptly, usually within a few days, and we add the domain to a block list so nothing from it is picked up again. We will confirm by email. No form, no argument, no proof required beyond an address at the publication or a byline that matches.
Prefer to be included but want something changed, such as a summary corrected or a different link used? Same address. We fix those promptly too.
A note on rights
We believe short summaries with attribution and a link are a fair use that sends readers to the source. We also believe the right to be left out belongs to the publisher, which is why the removal process above has no conditions. Nothing on this page limits any right you have.
