Agility chooses Nyobolt for ultra-fast charging for Digit 5 humanoid
RoboticsMechanical Engineering
THE AI ANGLE
Operating physical AI in industrial environmentsAgility Robotics partnered with Nyobolt to integrate fast-charging batteries into the Digit 5 humanoid robot. The pack charges in nine minutes for 90 minutes of runtime, allowing more than 20 hours of daily operation. The higher run-to-charge ratio reduces idle charging periods and changes power planning for mobile platforms.
THE TEACHING ANGLE
Engineers must evaluate the trade-offs between battery pack weight, charge speeds, and cell lifespan when sizing power systems for humanoids.Read the original at therobotreport.com Generate teaching or study materials
