THE AI ANGLE
Creating and altering nonconsensual intimate imagesA study across three nations found that seven percent of adults have experienced nonconsensual AI-generated intimate image abuse. Men reported higher rates of victimization, while women suffered greater harms to their health and personal safety. These findings push legal and justice practitioners to pursue preventative digital duties of care rather than after-the-fact responses.
