THE AI ANGLE
Scanning crops in real time to guide chemical spraying and field mappingTractor maker Valtra will offer PerPlant's dual-camera sensor installed directly at the factory. The roof-mounted system directs real-time spot spraying and variable-rate chemical application during regular tractor runs. This integration allows farm operators to cut chemical inputs without buying dedicated sprayers or conducting separate mapping passes.
THE TEACHING ANGLE
Operators must evaluate whether to treat roof-mounted sensors as an input-reduction tool or as a continuous data-collection asset for third parties.Read the original at agfundernews.com Generate teaching or study materials
