THE AI ANGLE
Automating driver background and employment verification callsDouble Nickel launched an AI agent named Vera to automate employment verifications for truck drivers. In initial tests, the software finished 40 percent of background checks without human help and cut processing time from four days to one. Hiring teams can onboard drivers faster, but staff must still resolve the remaining checks to satisfy federal safety rules.
